Support Workers

The project has 14 staff and 12 volunteers, all of whom are totally committed to our young people. We make sure that their time here is fulfilling in every way through the timetable and the curriculum. There is also a Christian ethos here at the project. We look for people who have a caring nature, and experience in working with young people aged 18 to 28 who have learning disabilities. You should be able to show patience, commitment, understanding, and be a team player. We have our Investors in People Award which we are very proud of, which shows how very committed we are to our staff.

Qualifications up to NVQ level 3 with a bias towards learning disabilities would be desirable but not essential. Our new year starts in September 06, at present we are unable to offer any positions at the project, but when our intake numbers become available, we could be looking for 2 part time support workers.
